St. James is on winter sabbatical. Please join in worship with one of the other churches in beautiful Lake City.

The Right Reverend Kym Lucas, Bishop of Colorado and the Reverend Teri Shecter, Missioner to the Southwest Region, visited St. James, Lake City, Colorado – Celebrating Holy Eucharist and St. James Day. The Lake City Community Choir provided uplifting music.

The blessing of the animals is done in remembrance of St. Francis, who is the patron saint of animals. October 4th is designated “World Animal Day” and coincides with the feast day of St. Francis.
